Digital Twin Development

Digital twin development for operations you can simulate.

A digital twin is a living model of a real system — a warehouse, a fleet, a production line or a supply network — kept in sync with operational data. OneLabX builds digital twins that let teams see what is happening, simulate what could happen and choose better actions.

01The challenge

Big operational decisions, tested in production.

Changing layouts, routes, staffing or suppliers is costly to get wrong, yet most organisations have no safe way to test these decisions first.

Spreadsheets cannot capture the interactions, variability and constraints of a real operation.

02Our approach

How we deliver digital twin development.

  1. 01

    Define the questions

Agree which decisions the twin must support and what level of detail that requires.

  2. 02

    Model the system

Represent assets, flows, constraints and variability, and validate against historical data.

  3. 03

    Connect live data

Integrate operational systems and sensors so the twin reflects current reality.

  4. 04

    Simulate and optimise

Scenario tools and optimisation that recommend actions, with interfaces built for operators.

03Capabilities

What we build.

  • Digital twin platforms

Live models of assets, sites and networks driven by operational data.

  • Discrete-event simulation

Process models that reveal bottlenecks, queues and capacity limits.

  • Logistics and supply chain simulation

Network-level models of inventory, transport and fulfilment.

  • Scenario modelling

What-if analysis for demand changes, disruptions and investments.

  • Predictive optimisation

Optimisation and ML that recommend schedules, routes and allocations.

  • Operational dashboards

2D and 3D interfaces that make complex systems understandable.

04FAQ

Common questions.

What is a digital twin?

A digital model of a physical system or process, kept up to date with real data, that can be used to monitor performance and simulate changes before making them.

Do we need IoT sensors to build a digital twin?

Not necessarily. Many valuable twins are built from existing operational data such as orders, schedules and ERP records. Sensors add value when real-time physical state matters.

How accurate is a simulation?

Accuracy is established by validating the model against historical performance. We report how closely the model reproduces known outcomes before it is used for decisions.
